Last week our beloved sheep was found dead at the range. We've been told that no bullet holes were found in him, so it does not appear that he was killed by a target shooter. He will be missed by all.

Pictures are finally up ! There was a lot of them with a lot of resizing to do, but they are finally up and ready to be viewed on the Pictures page, enjoy ! The 2008 schedule will also be up shortly, that will be my next item to work on.

The new 2008 schedule is now out, I'll be getting that posted up ASAP. I'm still re-cropping the pictures, takes a bit of time to get 140+ pictures re-cropped :) Work's been fairly busy as well lately, so it's taking a bit longer than anticipated. But I will get the schedule and pictures up as soon as possible ! Stay tuned !

Hi all. I had some issue with the picture CD, but I did get it working and finally got them onto a hard drive where I can start cropping and posting. So hang in there, they will be up very soon !

Earlier this week I got a CD of pictures, courtesy of Doug Trombley. Unfortunately, I am in Edmonton at the moment, waiting for a 6am flight tomorrow morning, and I don't have the CD with me (nuts !). So the new updated pics will have to wait until sometime later this week when I get back. Check back soon !

The hit counter is showing that we're getting more and more hits, good thing to see ! And the forum is getting some registered users, also a good thing to see, but we need some discussions and posts started on the forum ! Again, comments and suggestions on the site are more than welcome. I'll try to add some more pictures later on this weekend.

See the pics section of the site for all the Gun Show images from last weekend ! Turn-out seemed good, although I couldn't stay too long, good old work. There we plenty of guns, lots of people and lots of knowledge. I look forward to seeing next year's show. Enjoy !

Purchased the domain whrpc.com. I would have liked to have wrpc.com (Whitehorse Rifle & Pistol Club dot com), but it was parked by someone who most certainly would have wanted several hundred if not thousands of dollars for the domain. So my mind began working, and I came up with whrpc.com (WhiteHorse Rifle & Pistol Club). Makes sense, was available right away, so I grabbed it.
I'm hoping that this web site will give the club some exposure to the general public who is looking for information on the range in Whitehorse. I know when I was trying to get some information on how to become a member (I both needed and wanted to, because I now own resticted firearms), all I could find was phone numbers, no web site, which I would have preferred to start with.
Feedback is more than welcome !
